Yes: Although not too many foods would have Lactic Acid in them. The sugar is different from the acid and doesn't cause the same intolerance.

? celiac: Do you have celiac disease? If so then a gluten free diet would be encouraged.  Lactose intolerat patients do poorly with dairy products.

Not Lactose: The fact that you don't do well with eggs and pizza, but do ok with cheese would tend to go against lactose intolerance (there is no lactose in eggs). You could definitely have some other food sensitivity. Pay careful attention to the ingredients in your food. If you notice that a certain ingredient shows up in every food you do badly with, that's the culprit. Hope this hleps!

Dairy products: sometimes induces sputum.  Perhaps this and the cold temperature of ice cream causes you to cough.

: There are many products in the market free of lactose. try those. You can then try dairy in small amts. to see if you can tolerate that and increase slowly. your condition comes in low to high intolerance and you might be in the low. . Or you can take the pills. Using the bathroom too many times is not good for your health. Take precaution and don't pay the price! Good luck

Avoid Cow Milk: You can instead find products like cheese, milk, yogurt and ice cream made of soy, oat, rice, almonds, coconut milk, or hemp milk.  Usually they can be found in health food stores or in the organic/health department of a grocery store.
