3.  Get up and move / increase exercise

Miralax (polyethylene glycol): Constipation in pregnacny is common due to elevated Progesterone levels and iron in the pnv.  Adequate hydration 8-10 glasses of water per day, MiraLAX (polyethylene glycol) or milk of magnesia to get the boweks moving then colace 1-2 times per day to keep the "new" stool soft. More water, Miralax (polyethylene glycol): I assume you are taking zofran for nausea and therefore probably not taking much water.  This leads to harder stools.  Increasing your water intake and taking generic MiraLAX (polyethylene glycol) will help keep your stools soft.

Both are OK: I always start with dietary changes including increasing the amount of fluids she takes in: water and juices are especially good. Add prunes, apricots, raisons and fiber if she likes. Senna tabs are good and you can get these over the counter.
