In all my: years of practice....(over 50) I have never seen or head of a case of lacrimal duct  tumor.....not to say such doesn't exist... they do( VERY RARE!! )....it is far more likely that blocked lacrimal ducts are STUBBORN...and surgery while helpful a certain % of the time....can "fail"

Not usually: The tear ducts are totally separate so a problem in one will not affect the other. However the underlying cause of a problem in one can cause a problem in the other. For example, age-related stenosis of the lacrimal duct can affect both eyes.

i underwent cataract surgery ang syringing of lacrimal duct,and now i often get small painful nodules on eye lid margins.....what to do?

Likely meibomian: Nodules are likely meibomian glands clogging. Did you see an eyeMD to see if the small nodules are little styes? Best way to help with this is to apply warm compresses/hot compresses to lid margin &amp; use diluted tea tree oil according to directions under "lid hygiene" at eyedoc2020@blogspot.com. mri: pancreas shows homogeneous intrinsic high t1 signal intensity with homog. contrast enhancement without evidence of parenchymal lesion. no main ductal dilatation. there's a conventional pancreatic ductal anatomy. no fluid collection. meaning? thx

MRI: This is a situation where your physician, who knows your symptoms, should go over the study with the radiologist who interpreted it. The findings appear benign, but the radiologist may suggest other studies or referral to a specialist if your physician is still concerned about your symptoms.

a week ago, my left lacrimal punctum was swollen; however, it subsided the next day. today, i realise it is still swollen around duct and it's itchy.

Itchy eye: Try some visine or other antihistamine eye drop.  You can use warm compresses on the eye and if it does not resolve this weekend, see your doctor for an antibiotic drop on Monday.  Tobrex (tobramycin) is a good broad antibiotic drop to use.  good luck and feel better!

See a Doctor: It is a little hard to know exactly where you pain is from the description.  However, significant (horrible) eye pain should be evaluated by a Physician as soon as possible.

Inflammation: This sounds like an inflamed nasolacrimal duct opening.  If it is not itching or hurting, you may just give it a few days.  In the meanwhile, try warm compresses with the eyes shut for 15 minutes daily to see if this helps.  If the crusts fail to resolve in a few days or become dark yellowish or greenish, it is time to consult your doctor.

Anatomy: Are you a medical students? If so then there is no right or wrong way, whatever works for you to learn is the right way for you. Paying attention in class to what your Professor has to say is very important.
If you are not a medical student then if you insist to learn there is a book called anatomy ridiculously simple, start there.

Yes: and see below: Apply moist heat before nursing (compresses, warm shower or bath, or leaning over a sink full of warm water). A heating pad on a low between feedings, especially during the night can help dissolve the clog.Pain medication if you need it. Advil (ibuprofen) or Motrin or tylenol- for pain and fever. Encourage nursing frequently (at least every two hours) and vary the nursing positions so pressure will be varied.

Bacteria: There is a condition known as sialandentitis caused by a bacteria in your salivary gland which can cause stone formation and thus causing blockage.
