Labrynthitis: Labrynthitis is an inflammation of the middle ear that can cause dizziness.  Usually it is caused by a virus but persists for a period of time even after the virus is gone.

Meniere's disease: is form of chronic labyrinthitis.  Symptoms are similar, if not identical.  Treatment options for chronic form are limited.  Consult with an ENT specialist.

Worth seeing your Dr: If you're having labrynthitis again it's time to visit your PCP or ENT doctor to have this evaluated further. Conjunctivitis may or may not be related to it, but warrants further inspection too to determine what type of conjunctivitis you have, and get that treated quickly. Start with your PCP, and let him/her refer you to the right specialist.

Sometimes: Work carefully with your doctor.  Specialized physical therapy can help the dizziness also.

Labyrinthitis: Yes always - this is a very sensitive organ and it very susceptible to any abnormality enevn inflammation.

Not necessarily: Labyrinthitis is the inflammation or abnormality in the semicircular canals causing dizziness esp with head movement, there may be nausea. When one has low blood sugar, they have dizziness more like feeling light, sweating, unable to focus, weak, tired, and feeling of doom to even passing out. They do overlap so be careful. Diabetics should be aware and check bs to make sure.

diagnosed with labrynithis 2 years ago..never really had vertigo just right sided hearing loss and imbalance ..is this possible?

Possible: Possible, but if still with symptoms, I would revisit the situation and see an ENT as there are other causes.

Hearing loss: The tinnitus is a consequence of the hearing loss. If this is a nerve/sensorineural loss the medication you mention will not work. Depending on how bad the hearing is and how bothersome the tinnitus a cochlear implant is a consideration, though its use for this one sided loss is still off label. If a conductive loss surgery may be able to fix that.

my mother had her labyrinth removed due to a tumor.  she was left with a lot of noise. will lyrica (pregabalin) make it worse?

Maybe: It could make it better or worse or no effect

hi i had ear surgery jan14 i have been unwell since on and off but i have now had a ear infection labyrinths since 20 dec i'm now on 3rd meds mrsa?

Ear infection: resistance is certainly a concern after the third infection. It would be prudent to have a culture of the fluid iif possible. I would discuss this with an ENT physician.
