is the gm diet a good one?

Not proven: The diet says it was made at john hopkins medical school in baltimore and sponsored by general motorrs--thats the gm

but i doubt  jh or gm would ever say you can 
lose 10-17 lbs per week or that the food you eat burns more food. This diet with fruits and vegetables is probably safe, but and might permit you to lose 4 or 5 lbs in a week--it is mostly water, and then the whole diet becomes boring.

is gluten free pasta ( maize starch, soy flour, potato starch  and rice starch)with about 40 gm carbohydrates good for cholesterol ?

Does not matter: Since 90% of the cholesterol is produced by the body regardless of your diet, the above would not noticeably affect your cholesterol level. Do note that too much carb may not be good for your health. I don't believe extreme diet does anyone any good. Just eat anything in moderation and exercise at least 3 hrs a week will likely keep you in better shape.

cold feet and lower legs only, emg was good, all other tests good, if, free chain good.  neuropathy. 
dx with gm 1 antibody igm .   does anyone have a clue to treatments, mobility issues going forward, anything to keep me sane?  thank you

More tests: Could be compromise in vascular supply to lower extremities, which would affect both feet in the way you described first.  Have you had a study to evaluate the aortic branches/femoral arterial supply in the pelvis area?  This would be an angiogram or possibly CT-angiogram.  Also, do you have lower back symptoms and did the (most sensitive) EMG include small needles in the lower back muscles?

Not professional: It is touted to have high anti-oxidant and anti-bacterial activities. The medical grade is likely helpful when used topically on wounds to control or prevent infection. However I am highly doubtful that it can be used to prevent cancer, control diabetes, or treat a systemic infection.  Anything that sounds too good is too good to be true. Like the acai craze, this  too shall pass.

Masturbation: There is nothing abnormal or unhealthy in masturbation at the frequency you describe. In fact,  many youngsters report significantly more masturbation. There are no health consequences to this level of masturbation or of any level of masturbation. Remember masturbation is a normal and common experience that humans participate in. There is no medical or health reason not to masturbate.

Salicylic Acid: If you're looking for something over the counter, it would probably be salicylic acid.  For something prescription strength, you would want to start with a topical retinoid.  Hope this helps!

depression or..: Gyn consult to make sure everything and hormones ok is convenient; pcp also may check some other causes. But very commonly at your age, lack of interest (or plain bad technique) for partner, along with depression (diminished interest for previously pleasurable activities) is very common. To be sure, ask your dr and review this list of possibilities. Best of luck.
