Anxiety?: I assume you are taking this for anxiety.  It sounds like your problems is worsening.  Psychotherapy is the safest treatment for anxiety.

Depends : If you are using Klonopin for seizures, the highest dose can be up to 15 or 17 mg a day! However for anxiety, I wouldn't go over 4 mg a day. Very few patients go up to 8 mg a day. Klonopin has a very long half life and may make you very tired. If you are using other medicines , than more than 2 mg of Klonopin a day should suffice. Let your doctors guide you and don't mix alcohol or other sedative

Sedation, dependence: Klonopin (clonazepam) is a benzodiazepine that can cause sedation and drowsiness. Overall tiredness, poor thinking / coordination,  and dependence can also come from this medicine.

Klonopin (clonazepam) cocaine sz: The only indication for use of benzodiazepines  in patients who use Cocaine is for acute intoxication with Cocaine to attempt to prevent cocaine- induced seizures. This is only employed with Cocaine toxicity associated with agitation +/- delusions and hallucinations.  It is rx'd by medical providers who manage patients intoxicated on cocaine. Vital signs can be unstable.  Never use it on your own.

Depends: Depends on the dosage of Klonopin, your physical health and when you are planning to get up in the morning as well as how the medication will effect you You don't want to drive if you are sedated by the combination. Just because you can take it or tolerate it  , doesn't mean it is the correct medication for you. You need to discuss this with your treating physician.

: Drinking a glass if grapefruit juice can raise the blood level of klonopin, but I don't think you'll have enough juice from the grapefruit to make a significant difference.

Go slow: When weaning off klonopin or other medications in the same class &quot;benzodiazepine&quot; you must do so under a doctor&#x27;s supervision. Some people have to go no faster than 1/8th of the dose a month to avoid tremors, nervousness, insomnia.

Caution is advised: Methadone, a synthetic mu agonist opioid, has pharmacological activity similar to morphine. Klonopin (clonazepam) is a member of the benzodiazepine family. No drug interaction, but caution is advised due to the additive effect. Combo may result in vasodilation, severe hypotension, CNS and respiratory depression. Keep the air way straight and open.
