Skull bumps: The surface of the skull is not entirely smooth, people may have bumps in some areas.  These are especially common along the sutures, which is where skull plates fuse together after birth.

A small skin infection may also cause this, although these tend to be painful.

Not sure: Your clinical information indicates that  you have Crohn's and are on an an antibiotic. It is difficult to tell from your description what this knot may be with any accuracy. If this is a softer, possibly rubbery small knot it could be a lymph node, but could be something else as well.  As with any lump you find, it should have it evaluated to make sure that there are not other concerns.

what causes hard knot like lumps on your skull under your scalp? doesnt hurt but i have been having headaches more often than usual. they are around the crown area of my head around about where i wear my ponytail?

: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. These may be sebaceous/pilar cysts which are benign but can get infected. It would be prudent to see a doctor.

i had a lower right molar removed about a week ago.  now i have ear, throat, and jaw pain.  also, a knot has popped up on skull bone behind right ear?

Oral Surgeon: Get to the Oral Surgeon right away. If they did not do the extraction, see your Dentist who did and get immediate referral to the Oral Surgeon. Explain about having pain and mastoid swelling. Good Luck. Do not wait.

Trauma: There are several conditions that can cause the symptoms that you described. Although some may be benign, there are others that should be treated. I suggest you see your primary care doctor as soon as these symptoms appear.

Hard to know: Without being able to examine this and get an imaging study if necessary it is almost impossible to say with any certainty, but what is likely is that if it has been there since you were 5 years old and has not caused problems it is not likely to do so.  Good luck.

Hard to say: Hard to say w/o feeling and seeing it. Could be the mastoid, a normal bump behind the earlobe. Might be you never noticed it before. If it's growing, probably a lymph node and should go down in a few days to weeks. If continues to grow or becomes painful, see a doctor. Probably a benign thing (nothing to worry about).

i have an access on my neck it's been there a week... last night a huge knot popped up on the back of my skull and it hurts badly.

Abscess? And pain?: I think that is what you meant to write here. This is a something that needs an in person evaluation right away if you have severe pain and if it is more than a small, superficial skin issue like a bigger pimple for example. Without looking at it, I have to be cautious. If you use injection drugs of any kind or are diabetic/have immune issues, get seen in the emergency room or urgent care now.

i woke up with a swollen spot around the  2 knots on the base of the skull but only on the right side. and it hurts to touch and move?

Lymph node: swelling  is infection is possible. This may be related to scalp infection , infection or inflammation of the base of the neck, or other serious issues. Should be seen and checked today.
