Noticed small knot on left side of skull about 5in above war. bee there a while and haven't hit my head. don't notice unless looking sorsore presse?

Not sure: Your clinical information indicates that you have Crohn's and are on an an antibiotic. It is difficult to tell from your description what this knot may be with any accuracy. If this is a softer, possibly rubbery small knot it could be a lymph node, but could be something else as well. As with any lump you find, it should have it evaluated to make sure that there are not other concerns.
