Don't need both: The two preparations have similar effects, therefore it is easier to take one pill of piascledine vs three of glucosamine it should also be noted that in scientific studies, glucosamine showed no benefit in osteoarthritis

Weight Training: Will help strengthen ligaments.  Also you might want to consider prolotherapy to help with strengthening ligaments as well.

Knee pain: If the hamstrings are tight, then every time you exstend your lower leg you have to fight against the tight hamstrings.  This brings the knee cap hard againt the lower portion of the thigh and its normal groove.  It too much irritation a small bit of cartilage on the back of the knee cap can fall off and the float in the joint itself.  If it gets pinched as you bear weight, the knee will give way!

always crack the joint at my kneecap to relieve tension because it feels tight. sometimes it cracks involuntarily when i walk. will it injured my knee?

No: If there is no pain, this will not injure your knee.  The sound that occurs when "cracking" diarthrodial joints is thought to involve gas release from the synovial fluid inside the joint capsule.  A bubble can actually be seen in a joint after cracking.  Cracking is then impossible until the gas has redissolved.  Kind of a science fun fact, but certainly no need to worry about injury.

discomfort left pelvis area up along inside of ribs. feels full or tight. lower back discomfort. tingling above knee/bottom of big toe. if i lay butterfly position legs, pain between leg and pelvis. joint? all on left side. what could cause this?

Neurologist: Low back discomfort combined with tingling in one leg and foot raises suspicion of nerve root impingement by a bulging disc or spur in a lower spine vertebra but pelvis and rib involvement would not be explainable by that disc or spur. I would start with an examination by a neurologist. Appropriate testing will be done. You may then be referred to an orthopedic specialist if deemed advisable.

Knee Pain/ RICE: 34 year old gentleman with history of traumatic injury to knee around 10 days ago. Initial swelling in the knee which has partially resolved however continued swelling and pain has continued. You should visit an orthopaedic surgeon. Your knee stability can be assessed, along with the function of your cruciate ligaments, neuromuscular status, and imaging studies. Rest, ice, wrap with ace, elevate.

Hi: It will not automatically resolve on it's own. Only have it removed if it is bothering you, as in you are having trouble with that knee. This would be done through a scope by an orthopod.

Anterior thigh: I have found that the anterior thigh muscles seem to atrophy over the years and this phenomena is accompanied by knee pain. Squats and leg lifts are good ways to start strengthening these muscle. Walk backwards up hill and feel you anterior thigh muscles burn and this will let you know how weak they are. Strengthen muscles around joint to fight arthritis.

what causes my knee to hurt when i straighten it to do quad exercises? i feel a lot of pain when i tighten the quad the pain is felt in the knee?

Knee pain: Two common conditions resulting in knee pain associated with contraction of the quad muscles are (1) patellar tendinitis - 'jumper's knee' and (2) patellofemoral syndrome. The former is related to inflammation/injury to the patellar tendon, and the latter is related to inflammation/injury/wear of the patellofemoral joint (knee cap joint). Try rice (rest, ice, compression, elevation) and nsaids.
