hello, my girlfriend was diagnosed with enterococcus spp 10.000 after 7 day antibiotic treatment of ecoli in urine , what kind of treatment  she needs?

More details needed: So she initially had a UTI that was shown to have e. Coli in the culture and was treated for the e. Coli UTI for 7 days? At what point exactly was she then diagnosed with the enterococcus in her urine? Was this after the 7 day course of antibiotics or was this in addition to the original culture that showed e. Coli? We usually treat enterococcus UTI with Nitrofurantoin if not already tried.

does gonorrhea be cured using ampiclox capsules? if no, what antibiotic or what can i take to cure gonorrhea

Not reliable: Many gonorrhea bacteria are highly resistant to both antibiotics in Ampiclox (ampicillin, cloxacillin). Do not use it and do not attempt to treat yourself. The recommended treatment includes an injection of ceftriaxone, so you can't treat yourself. Anyway, self treatment is always poor health care, so this forum will not assist in recommended an antibiotic to take on your own. See a doctor ASAP.

No: Flagyl does not treat gonorrhea. If you have gonorrhea you need more antibiotics.

YES: once you get C diff you can relapse again. Usually it will occur with another hospitalization or antibiotic use. You should use a probiotic and eat yogurt on a regular basis.

Re-testing +: The most important criteria for effective gonorrhea treatment is for both partners to take their medication at the same time and sequence as well as avoiding sexual contact until re-testing in the form of a gonorrhea culture shows that both parties are negative. There are resistant strains of G.C. brought back from Vietnam by our soldiers that may require a antibiotic change by MD.

Antibiotic: Selection will be based on in vitro testing against different antibiotics. Many times reinfection is the issue, not necessarily a resistant strain.

Cheilits: Can try bactroban.  May respond to cortisone cream. Do not lick corners of mouth.

Improved symptoms: The main thing is that your symptoms should improve. Depending on the specific type and case of prostatitis, maybe your doctor will arrange for lab tests, especially urinalysis and culture; or sometimes ultrasound or other methods to image the prostate. All that said, true prostatitis is rare at your age. Are you sure you don't have nongonococcal urethritis (NGU)?
