Stones that can pass through a ureter can generally pass through the bladder outlet, but certain conditions, such as prostate enlargement or a neurogenic bladder, can predispose someone to forming bladder stones.

Lithotripsy : There are a couple of ways to get the offending stone. Sometimes a urologist may insert a stent or plastic tube that can act as a sort of guide for the stone. Depending on the size of the stone ultrasound shock waves may be used to break up the stone so that it can pass.  There maybe other ideas a urologist has and talk to your doctor for your options. Nausea: Nausea and vomiting usually occurs during the acute episode. If you still have nausea is probably not related to the stone.. You could have gastritis from possible medications they may have given you for control of pain.

: That is very possible. No accurate prediction can be made without knoing the size of the stone. But with your description chances of passing it are very high. Good luck and use a strainer when you pee so that you can catch the stone and have it analyzed

Yes: It is probably still in the ureter near the entrance to the bladder.  This is the trigone and the nerves that make you feel like you have to urinate are triggered when a stone is trying to pass into the bladder.

i went to er 3 days ago they did a cat scan said i had a kidney stone that just entered the bladder. i have another stone in my kidney not going anywhere anytime soon. i haven't passed the 4mm stone yet, & i'm still bleeding when i pee is this okay?

: You should be fine. Stone of that size will pass eventually. From now on, you should have a higher than average fluid intake, at least 2 liters a day &amp; 2.5-3 liters if your body mass is above average. Eat less salt and animal protein for stone prevention in the mean time then see a urologist or nephrologist. Try to catch the stone with a strainer; stone analysis is very helpful for treatment.
