One kidney and hbp: Your daughter can live well with one kidney, as all kidney donors do. Her BP is a problem that needs to be treated, as she can develop chronic kidney disease or kidney failure if it is not . If she is a teenager, have her physician check her for causes of secondary hypertension, such as a renal artery stenosis or a conn's syndrome, among others causing her BP to be elevated. Good luck.

Close relationship: The kidneys are one of the primary filters of toxins from blood. They also serve to maintain salt and water balance in the body. The kidneys release chemicals that increase blood pressure to maintain a consistant flow of blood through them. The process is very efficient until outside forces come into play such as obesity, diabetes, high cholesterol, excessive salt intake.

do you need to be on a special diet if you have stage three kidney disease.  and my blood pressure is fine with medication, but i am anemic.

Anemia and stage 3: You don't need to be on a special diet with stage 3 chronic kidney disease. That will depend on your phosphorus level. What you do need is medicine (esa) to increase your hemoglobin (h). It's low as your body has no erythropoietin (e) so you are anemic. Esa injections will increase h and you will feel well. Due to a larger blood mass on esa, your BP goes up and you may need more meds for your bp.

i have chronic kidney disease and high blood pressure. is stir frying a good method to prepare my foods?

Not the key: Food choices and preparation aren't the key to your health right now. Stir-frying offers possibilities for low-salt and low-fat eating, good for one's blood pressure and lipids and staying thin. I'm even more interested in your complying with medication, restricting protein if you've been advised to do so, and remaining physically fit through daily aerobic exercise. Stay proactive. i was told not to take blood pressure pills cause of my kidneys, later my kidneys got better and my blood pressure was normal,do kidney issues make your blood pressure go up, just wondered if theres a connection, i also quit taking other stuff too?

If your doctor prescribed other medications, it is unwise to discontinue the without your doctor’s advice. Please see your doctor for further advice regarding other medications if any.

It : It may not mean anything at all, but there always is the possibility of early separation of the placenta [placental abruption]. You should f/u with your OB  doctor for evaluation includin g fhr monitoring and ultrasound.

Possible: Good of pressure control is important for kidney function. It is better for BP to be more just around 130/80. Target blood pressure could be different from one person to the other depending upon other medical conditions. Low sodium diet is essential for blood pressure control.
