No: Kennel cough is a very contagious upper respiratory infection found in dogs & caused by canine parainfluenza virus & a bacteria called bordetella bronchispeptica.  It is not transmitted to humans.

No: No, ordinarily the bacteria that classically cause kennel cough do not affect humans.  However, there have been case reports of that bacteria affecting humans who are immuno-compromised.  As long as everyone in the household his relatively healthy, i'm afraid only your dog is going to be affected.  However, your dog can pass it to other dogs!  i hope your pup starts feeling better soon!

See a doc: You need a full exam.  it could be chronic bronchitis, walking low grade pneumonia or other issues.  Please see a medical doctor for assessment and treatment.  Its hard to advice without examination and more detail history and physical exam.

See doctor: There are many causes for coughing but the voice change does suggest that reflux may be the cause. However it is best for her to consult her doctor to get checked out for other potential causes for a chronic cough (asthma, TB etc).

Likely a weak airway: Some infants can develop a rather worrisome breathing pattern that make a lot of noise from their rubbery airways. Some have an airway that is more rubbery than normal & make a crowing sound as they inhale & or exhale. I would have this checked out by your doc early next week.
