More likely to burn: Bleach is touted as a home remedy for many things--this is not a location where you should apply strong chemicals in an attempt to save a couple of $, you will reget the chemical burn. Try lotrimin (clotrimazole) af (over counter), keep area dry (but don't get arrested), and may take 7-10 days to see significant change. Continue treatment at least 3 days after you think is entirely gone.

JockItch=TineaCruris: Tinea cruris is medical term for jock itch which is a fungal infection in groin. See http://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/jock-itch/basics/definition/con-20021468 for more info. Fucidin or fusidic acid is used to treat certain bacterial infections (https://www.medicines.org.uk/emc/medicine/2374) &amp; would be useless against jock itch. Ask your pharmacist for over-the-counter options.

Yes: Tea-tree oil is great on the skin for fungal infections such as Jock itch.   It can be used on the buttocks and on the labia majora.  It can also be used inside the vagina  as a 20% solution on a tampon and left in over-night, though there are better medications for this.  Best wishes!

Candida: Candida or yeast can certainly create these symptoms and presentation.  You can get a prescription from your doctor. In the meantime, cut out all sugar and yeast from your diet, keep the area clean and dry and you will start to feel better.

Could be yeast: try either miconazole or clotrimazole cream to the area twice daily and follow up with your physician.

Stop self treating: Get examined. You will need to stop any oils which will "lock in" any fungal infection. You will need to be examined,placed on both oral antifungal antibiotic and a cream that contains antifungal and cortisone medications. 8 years is a bit absurd...and you now have a chronic skin condition. Consider a dermatology evaluation.

Bump: Could be but could also be molluscum or herpes. Have it checked by your doctor, urologist or dermatologist.
