No: Not to my knowledge. One study found an incidence of tardive dyskinesia that can effect the jaw and tongue, but the incidence was 0.47% and the majority of people who developed it were also on antipsychotic medications which are known to cause this.

Initial reaction: It appears that you are experiencing an initial reaction to the norepinephrine and dopamine action, which is the basic pharmacologic effect of Wellbutrin (bupropion). It is advisable to start with the immediate release Bupropion, at 37.5 mg daily for about a week, increase to 75 mg and then the Wellbutrin (bupropion) XL 150 mg daily. If you also started the Zoloft recently, that could also cause some initial side effects

Who recommended STOP: If you were the one to execute the sudden stoppage of these medications then, my suggestion is to return to them and check with your doctor to get a weaning schedule. If it was your doctor's recommendation that you go cold turkey then, have you communicated with them to let them know you're not feeling well to see what options are available?

Your : Your question is very important.  Domestic violence is common and i'm sure many people who read these questions will relate to your fear and desire for help.

It sounds like you have post traumatic stress symptoms, which are common for people who have been in violent relationships.  The most important pieces of advice i can give are: 1) seek the support of a psychiatrist and psychotherapist.  Your fears are understandable.  It would be very important to have all the resources available to help you cope with the huge stresses you are under.  2) medication and psychotherapy can be of great help.  Which specific medication is best would come from a formal consultation with a psychiatrist.  There are several good choices of medications.  3) it sounds like you should have an order of protection from a judge, so that your significant other can not come near you without being arrested again.  4) it would be very important to use the support system of a  organization that helps people who have suffered domestic violence.  Such an organization has support groups and legal services that can help you obtain an order of protection.  Since you live in albany, for guidance i would suggest contacting:

RememberTheDoormouse: All these kinds of drugs can have weird side effects: when starting them and when stopping them. Either way they'll eventually  go away. If you really feel fogged-out you can take a lesser dose (or half a pill) for several days and get to your maintenance dose more slowly. You need to talk this over with the doctor that prescribes it. And make sure you really need this kind of medication.

i've lowered zoloft (sertraline) dose from 200mg to 150mg for around 2 weeks. i have muscle aches and starting to get head spasms ! is this normal?

Lowering Zoloft (sertraline) dose: Muscle aches and 'head spasms' or shock-like sensations may be seen in Zoloft (sertraline) withdrawal. Suggest you discuss with prescribing doc and taper dose more slowly - maybe increase dose a little until you feel better. Discontinuing Zoloft (sertraline) or similar med need not result in any physical discomfort. Changing med dose should be individualized and carefully monitored by prescribing doctor.
