i took a .5 ativan this morning because im going to a garth brooks concert. how long should i wait to have a alcoholic drink?

: Ativan has a half-life of 12 hours, so 12 hours after you take it, half is still in your system. Ativan is also addictive and synergistic with alcohol so the regular use of either will cause the same withdrawal symptoms when stopped. Treating combined addiction to alcohol and Ativan is extremely challenging and repeated use of both on the same day will create dependence in as little as two weeks.

Also neurological or vascular conditions may result in poor cerebral flow and result in syncope and fall. Middle ear conditions can also cause dizziness and spinning sensation. You need to have a thorough cardiac, neurologic, cerebrovascular and perhaps ENT work up.

: He may have low blood pressure when standing up (orthostatic hypotension), especially if he is on antihypertensive medication or medication for prostate problem. 
Sugar level of 193 should not cause any symptom except he has lost significant volume because of uncontrolled hyperhyperglycemia which can also cause orthostatic hypotension or exacerbate this adverse effect from the above medications.
