6wks, 6days post ivf, tech can see fetal pole & sac, no heartbeat. had gush of blood a few days earlier.  hcg still rising.  is this a miscarriage?

However, bleeding sometimes occurs with implantation of the embryp/placental growth.
Make sure you're not rh-

with a presence of fetal pole, you should see a fetal heart in maximum one week with a normal pregnancy.

Early abortions X 3: Since your miscarriages are very early this suggests something other than the uterus.  I recommend that you have several serum Progesterone drawn at 3 days intervals after ovulation.  It may be that with a low Progesterone supplementing with vaginal Progesterone will get you through the critical period.

Not uncommon.: Ivf pregnancies are notoriously high-risk for complications, including early pregnancy loss. The most likely explanation for a 14-week loss is genetic and/or anatomical anomalies in the fetus - it is nature's way to deal with major anomalies incompatible with healthy life. Other etiologies are possible but less likely - talk with your physician!

Hard to say: The data provided is brief.If you have worked through a fertility center I would hope they have explored structural reasons for your looses. You may want to consider other review &amp; testing with a clinical geneticist to consider less common genetic or chromosome issues that impair fertility.

Depends: conception and pregnancy are determined by a lot of factors. previous pregnancies, general health, genetic conditions in family. IVF is an expensive procedure.

Start with diagnosis: Don't forget to have the guy checked out. Unless he has already fathered a child, a good first step is always to make sure he is producing enough healthy sperm to get the job done. One's Ob-Gyn or Fertility specialist can figure out if a woman is ovulating, and look for other issues such as hormonal imbalances. After both husband and wife are evaluated, there can be a diagnosis.

i had an ivf treatment after which i had miscarriage and then after that every 10-15 days there is some amount of bleeding.is this abnormal?

Explain to MD: You need to convey this issue to the Fertility  GYN MD unless a D &amp; C surgical procedure was performed to make sure that the uterus is empty and free of any residual fetal material from the miscarriage which can cause this type of bleeding.
