No: It that is truly all that is seen then the pregnancy is abnormal. You should see the pregnancy sac, the yolk sac, the pregnancy and the heartbeat by then. But even a few days can matter a lot and sometimes it is just hard to see

Early US: Worse case scenario is a blighted ovum or missed abortion.  Usually when a tech or physician is not sure if they say a fetal pole, there's something there that suggests it is present.  Be patient and repeat the US in a week or so.  You may find that everything is fine.

if you have 5 day ivf transfer & it implants say 2 days later.  would the measurements of gest sac reflect 5dt date or the implant date on u/s scan.

Possible: Its possible but all these measurements by imaging including ultrasound are relative not 100% exact.

Unlikely: It sounds like it is proceeding normally.  6 weeks is the earliest that an ultrasound will show anything, and a gestational sac is all that should be seen.  It is possible that there is something wrong, but it sounds like it is too early to "doom" it.

Poor to none: If you had an ivf procedure 6 weeks ago, you would now be the equivalent of 8+ wks menstrual age. At this point there would be an easily recognizable fetus if the procedure was successful. What is the HCG level?

Possible: The yolk sac is usually present by the fifth week of pregnancy - it would be concerning if there was no yolk sac seen during the fifth week.

Early pregnancy IVF: The HCG levels presented are consistent with a growing implanted pregnancy, and the presence of a yolk sac/fetal heartbeat are significant evidence for a viable intrauterine pregnancy.  If bleeding occurs in the next two weeks or so, see your OB physician , who may prescribe progesterone  to overcome inadequate progesterone from the placenta.

At 9: weeks the fetus should be easily visible on a technically adequate ultrasound, so if the dates are correct it is not normal.  Discuss it with your doc, and take care.

Miscarriage?: There should be more than a yolk sac by now. There should be a fetus with a heart beat. It would appear that you have a missed abortion or what is normally called a miscarriage. This is unfortunate. Your infertility specialist that performed the ivf would be the best one to determine this.
