Chest pain: Might still be cardiac in origin; may need cardiac stress test/angiography to be sure. Gi problems like reflux disease can also cause pain in that area, especially if exacerbated by acidic/spicy/fried/fatty foods/alcohol/soda pop. Other possibilities:aortic aneurysm; costochondritis. See pcp/internist for thorough workup & treatment regimen.

Chest Pain: If what you have has been going for weeks, it might be related to muscular problem or other structures of the chest not of much concern.
However, if the pain has been for short period of time, you better gets it checked out. 
Pain worse with breathing or coughing might indicates problems with the lung itself or surrounding cover of it
Pain that is constant all the time might be due to heart issue.

Pinch: Positional changes causing this armpit pain are likely due to pinching a nerve, muscle or joint. If this is the only position that creates this pain, it is likely not harmful. If this persists and is present in a more regular position see your doctor as soon as possible.

More info: There are many things that can give you those symptoms. When do you get pain? What type? How long does it last? Anything make it better? Anything make it worse? Does food affect the pain? Have you had any surgery ? How long has it been there? Have you tried any medications? Did they work? Did you injure yourself? Pulled muscle etc? Has anyone done any studies? Worse with stress?

Not a tendon: There are no tendons in the armpit. I think you should get a second opinion. If it is a lymph node you should have a proper diagnosis as this could be serious.

See thoracic surgeon: Begin with pcp , if no help concider vascular or thoracic surgeon. Your first rib could pressing on the vessel causing symptoms. Thoracic outlet syndrome is remote possibility.
