ovulation after depo: The Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone) shot (dmpa) is given every 12-13 weeks to reliably prevent pregnancy but the hormones in the shot can persist for 6 months and for some women the resumption of ovulation can take a year. If you did not have regular periods before the dmpa you might need a medication like cyclic Provera to trigger a regular cycle and ovulation. Hopefully it will get regular soon, almost 6 months.

Depends: Depo can cause prolonged suppression of ovulation and normal cycling in former users. Up to 18 months in worst cases.  But if you are having normal monthly periods since getting of the Depo-Provera then you are ovulating regularly.  Keep in mind that it may take some time to conceive.   You could see your dr for labs and sonogram if you are getting worried.  If you are not getting periods, then i would re.

Both: This is extremely variable. Return to fertility can take over a year or conception can occur as soon as the next month. Overall there is a delay but it varies widely from person to person.

Usually, : Usually, most women begin ovulation again in 12-14 weeks after their last Depo-Provera shot. If you have been off it longer and cannot become pregnant, then you may need a medical evaluation.  Sometimes hormonal issues, including thyroid, can affect periods.  Also weight, too high or too low, can affect ovulation.  If you continue to not be able to get pregnant please be seen for an evaluation.

Will regulate only: Combo BC will create regular cycles for you and continue to prevent you from getting pregnant. There is no evidence that they will "make it easier to get pregnant after depo."
The return to normal ovulation and to fertility after Depo-Provera or BC is rather unpredictable and very variable. Eat healthy, take folic acid, exercise...and draft your personal reproductive health plan which fits your lifestyle.
