For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex. 
Get HPV vaccine.

Otc lozenges with menthol, eucalyptus, peppermint, spearmint and/or honey may also provide relief. Feel better soon!

Itchy throat: Try saltwater gargles. Mix tsp of salt in 8 oz of warm water – gargle w this several times/day. You can gargle w Aloe Vera juice a couple of times per day. A mix of chamomile tea w honey &amp; a small amt of lemon juice helps.

If there is no fever yet, you may want to try an otc antihistamine such as zyrtec first. If it does not help and you develop a fever, you should visit your doctor to further evaluate your throat.

If itching worsens or there is associated swelling, see an allergist.  They are uniquely qualified to find the cause so maybe you won't need to take medications.
