Virus: This suggests a viral upper respiratory tract infection which usually runs its course in a week. Allergies are unlikely in view of the presence of fever. Treatment consists of resting, drinking adequate fluids,taking acetaminophen for fever. If fever persists or if deep cough with discolored sputum develop, see your physician. Also persistence or worsening of symptoms over a week warrant an exam

However, late in pregnancy, category B antihistamines like Benadryl (diphenhydramine) and Zyrtec are generally safe for mother and baby. Nasalcrom spray is especially safe, as long as one is not allergic to it, which is RARE, but it is not very strong. Nasal steroid sprays Nasacort/Flonase are usually fine, because not much is used--all these OTC

Yes: It is very possible that you may have an infection of the ear canals called otitis externa or as it is often known as "swimmer's ear".  Usually this comes from trapped water in ear canal causing an infection in underlying skin of canal see your dr and see if you have this if so can be treated with antibiotic ear drops.
