Not likely,,,: Polycystic kidney disease is characterized by flank pain, hematuria (blood in urine), urinary tract infection in 30s and 40s, and hypertension.  Also cysts in the kidney and liver as well as berry aneurysms in the brain are characteristic.  There are apparent no skin lesions that characterize this disease, unless they're due to whatever causes the urinary tract infections.  Hope this helps.

what are the first symptoms of liver or kidney disease. where would itching all over and metallic taste fall in the timeline between normal to disease?

Itching can be: related to systemic disease.  Liver disease can cause increased bilirubin which can lead to diffuse itching.  Dysgeusia (or the metallic taste) can be caused by a lot of things, including medications and different disease processes.  I would recommend you go see your primary care doctor to get checked out.

Not likely: Stage 3 kidney disease does not usually cause pruritis. Do have it checked though as it may have got worse.

See below.: Itching can be part of advanced kidney disease but not usually the bootom of feet. Can also get neuropathy of the feet which is usually numbness but could be confused with itching.

PTH, Phos; Dry skin: If the PTH level or the phosphorus levels are high, this can cause severe itching.  Also since patients on dialysis tend to be dehydrated, the skin can get dried out as well and cause itching.  Lubrication can help with itching, but get lotions/creams that don't dry the skin out more or it will get worse. Your md might have some suggestions as well in regards to lotions or tablets to help with it.

Pericardial Effusion: If you are talking about a pericardial effusion, fluid in the pericardium which surrounds the heart, a better test to diagnose this is an echocardiogram. This will give an estimate of the fluid found there.

An ekg can show low voltage, but that is not diagnostic of a pericardial effusion.

A chest x-ray will show an enlarged heart. You will still an echocardiogram to see how much fluid is present.

An : An elevated blood ammonia level is usually due to liver failure.  High blood ammonia levels can cause serious symptoms including severe confusion and even coma.  Patients with severe liver problems can also have kidney failure as well due to the so-called hepatorenal syndrome.

More tests: Blood work and us do not show bone trauma, abnormal spinal anatomy. Xrays
may be helpful.

Yes and no: A specific group of e. Coli (ehec-enterohemorrrhagic e. Coli) is responsible for acute renal failure, known as hemolytic uremic syndrome(hus), following bloody diarrhea.  Young children and elderly people are more susceptible to develop this complication.  Antibiotic treatments so far failed to prevent the development of hus.
