i have swelling and redness. there is itching and sometimes burning after urination on my vulva. i have taken diflucan but my symptoms remain. which medication would work best to treat my symptoms and is this a yeast or bacterial infection?

Hard to say: Without an exam, it is difficult to diagnose what you describe. You should see your doctor for an exam to determine what is causing the symptoms in order to treat it properly. There are a number of things that can cause swelling and redness and require different therapies to treat.

i have a rash under my bottom lip. dont have any other symptoms of herpes like burning urine or sores "down there" it doesn't hurt just itches?

Urinary urgency: This can be a sign of a urinary tract infection, diabetes or just an irritation within the bladder sensory nerves. A review of your history, exam &amp; testing can sort out the worst reasons. Some have this as a nervous habit or other issue. There are medications to help stop this if it is not part of an otherwise  treatable infection/cause.

Here are some ...: Three possibilities to consider for feeling constant urge to urinate are UTI, bladder inability to accommodate / hold urine, &amp; pending urinary retention. These are easy to figure out by analyzing the onset, degree, duration, evolution, &amp; progress of urge to void and its potentially related symptoms over time, conducting physical exams, and testing UA, residual urine, etc. so to deduce possible Dx.

: Pl see your doc/Urologist and also get a urine test. Sit in a warm tub to relax to urinate and make sure you are not constipated Hope you feel better
