Skin pH: Baking soda applied to skin can alter the ph and result in irritation, but not usually ulcerate it. If that occurs, it is usually the skin cancer itself causing the damage. It needs to be removed.

I'm sorry: I expect that even the members of the healthtap team who are most sympathetic to alternative / complementary medicine will agree that the "pop" claims about affecting the biologic behavior of cancers by eating baking soda will tell you it is without any basis in fact. I autopsied one person who died from eating too much baking soda at once. Don't do it.

I'm sorry: Small cell carcinoma is very seldom primary in the liver and you need to have an explanation for why it's not a lung primary metastatic there instead -- that would be treatable with chemotherapy for a few more good months / years. The baking soda "alternative" therapy is a cynical, cruel fraud and adds insult to your difficult situation, no matter how "kindly" and "caring" the presenters.

Accepted Answer

: It is OK to use antacids for stomach burning. Probably better than Baking soda is using Mylanta or Tums on an as needed basis. There also are medications which reduce acid, but that need to be used on a more regular basis. If your symptoms persist longer than a couple of weeks, you should see your primary care doctor or a G.I. doctor for advice. Good luck.

: Do you take antibiotics for any other problems?  Antibiotics can facilitate the growth of yeasts. Have cultures been done? If it's not getting better, maybe it's not a yeast infection. You don't specify the site, but I'm assuming this is vaginal. If so, and other infections have been ruled out, ask your doctor about the possibility of trying Lamisil.

No single group: There are dozens of subtypes of ovarian cancer. Some are easily cured with excision; some respond magnificently to radiation or chemotherapy after the mass is resected, and for others responses are so-so. Today, everybody working on cancer frontiers pools their work, so there's little to be gained by choosing one group. But you're to be praised for your proactive approach. Good luck.

Lots of folks: Cancer is usually treated by medical oncologists (give chemo), surgeons (do surgery), and radiation oncologists (give radiation) but we can&#x27;t forget the large supporting cast of general practitioners and many other medical specialists plus nurses, techs of all kinds, social workers, nutritionists and a ton of other folks who are part of the team (including patient and family). It&#x27;s a group effort.

Yes to all: The national institute of health, rather than the food and drug administration, coordinates a lot of basic cancer work. We now cure 4 of 6 cancers, up from 2 of 6 when i was a kid, including regularly curing many types ofo advanced ones. There will never be a "cure for all cancers" as the intractable ones result from destabilization of the genome & evolve resistance to any rx, but things are bettr.

Beware.: Anytime you see "proven cure" attached to a product, you should be suspicious. Curaderm bec5 is an extract of eggplant, and there is no credible evidence that eggplant is an effective treatment for skin cancer, no matter what you've read on the internet. Not only that, but using these "magical" creams only delays effective treatment (such as surgery), once you realize that you've been had.

my cousin was diagnose with testis cancer this year his doc said he is fine now how long can he live after cure of cancer?

Normal life: Testis cancer is curable, .meaning that patients  will live their normal life if treated correctly. The treatment is based on the stage of disease. if stage I then removing the tumor should cure most cases without the need of any chemotherapy. however, if the cancer spread to other parts of the body then he will need chemotherapy which will cure most cases.
