Yes: This is an all over infection and can cause almost every symptom. It is self limiting and should be better within 7 days. Adults are often sicker. Use Tylenol (acetaminophen) and Ibuprofen every 6 hours for symptom control. All the best.

Coxsackie virus: Any virus can evoke high fevers, if you want to know whats ailing you there are respiratory viral panel tests that can narrow the field.Take yourself to an urgent care center or ER to find out, may be a different cause

Cannot diagnose: This sounds as if you have a viral upper respiratory tract infection, but 2 weeks is a lengthy time to be symptomatic. You don't say whether you have fever, nausea, vomiting or photophobia, but your symptoms have been present long enough to warrant a visit to your primary care physician. Go and i hope you feel better soon.

Not likely: Most likely not. It may be an ulcer or an allergic reaction. This is difficult to diagnos without an exam. You need to see an ent.

It happens: The same blisters seen in kids can occur the same way and in the same locations in adults. The HFM pattern illness may also have no spots or a few in only one location. It is an enterovirus, so abdominal pain and or diarrhea are also seen.If you got it from your baby it should have come up within a week at the latest.
