Pain: Some men may have pain or discomfort with hydroceles and varicoceles, but most are asymptomatic. Nothing to worry about. Ibuprofen may help.

Short answer--no: An umbilical hernia wouldn't cause testicular pain.  Have you talked to a urologist yet?  That would be the first step to evaluate this.

Possibly: Hydroceles are generally asymptomatic. However, when they become very large or are under tension from the increased fluid volume, it may cause discomfort and pressure but is typically not excrutiating. If there is excrutiating pain, further testing is warranted to determine the etiolgy of the pain.

i felt pain in my left iliac during last ejaculation. currently, low libido and pain before possible ejaculation. had varicocele, hydrocele surgeries 15/10y ago and stone kidney 4y ago. have no pain normally, no swelling, no sexually tran. infection?

: Your symptoms necessitate a visit to a urologist.

can a hydrocele or varicocele in adult cause a little swelling in the groin?

H'cele yes V'cele no: A hydrocele can  extend up into the groin, but varicoceles almost invariably remain in scrotum. I have seen many hundreds of varicoceles over the years & never seen one extend up into the groin.

is a combination of having both hydroceles and varioceles bad? results say for the varicocele it is measuring 4.3 mm in ap diameter?

: No it is not. Varicocele may or may not affect sperm count- hydrocele does not

ultrasound reveals hydrocele, epididymal cysts and 2 varicocele on the left side. should i be concerned? i am 39 years.

"Scrotal cocktail": Fortunately all3 conditions are benign. Not to worry. Only need treatment if scrotal problems are interfering with your life, ie pain, discomfort , infertility or hydrocele is too large for you to want to live with it forever. Good urologic surgeon could certainly correct all 3 with one operation. Could have just a hydrocelectomy, + varicocelectomy if ur infertile. Most epudidymal cysts can b left.

is the hydrocele a cause for a pain in my right testicle? in my testicle ultrasound the results were a varicocele in my left and a moderate hydrocele on my right, my testicle are still normal and homogeneous. please if so, can you tell me what to do?

: Generally a hudrocele does not cause pain. If the testicle itself was normal on that side then try wearing a good scrotal support

laproscopic varicocelectomy for left side varicocele 1 month ago. no noticeable hydrocele. am i in the clear?

Should be good: While there could also ways be late recurrences, pure probably ok. Best to ask your surgeon however. Hope this helps!

i have a mild right sided hydrocele and a moderate left sided varicocele. i don't have insurance. what would surgery cost me roughly? thanks.

BARGAIN: These are relatively simple procedures and could be done (most of the time) via ENDOSCOPY!! Also suggest you have BOTH SIDES DONE thus have only ONE Charge for OR/ANESTHESIA etc etc
