Psyllium: Taking fiber capsules such as psyllium husks keeps the bowels moving while not entering the blood stream.  Fish oil is also very helpful and the dha component would be good for the baby's brain.

Depends...: Stool softeners come in many forms (fiber, chemical and 'natural'), all trying to increase the water content of your stools, as opposed to laxatives that stimulate the bowels to go by various actions, some of which may be quite uncomfortable. Beware of the so-called 'natural' softeners, unregulated by the dea, many of which contain harmful laxatives that can damage your colon cells, worsening it.

Treating fungus...: Treating fungus in nails is challenging and all take at least 6-8 weeks. If you are young and healthy and the nails are just yellow - applying antifungal cream (like lamisil) to the nails twice daily. Once the nail is thickend and deformed, or if you are diabetic it is much harder to treat. Applying vick's to the nails every night will soften them & make them less painful.

It is very good: It has a good track record for the most common nail infections.  It is tolerated well, affordable and generally effective. 

This medicine is by prescription, so ask your podiatrist for one.  Simple blood tests to rule out liver problems are commonly performed. If you have a history of liver disease or take certain medications, other options might be better for you.

Usually good: Sorry   you might be suffering from tinea pedis or.....Athletes foot.  
You can try soaking your feet in a vinegar sln (1 cup to 2 quarts water)
treat your shoes with lysol spray 
dry thoroughly between your toes.
Be persistent, this is the KEY!

If the condition continues ask for a podiatry referral.

: You could get diarrhea from over use of laxatives.
For constipation - You may take a fiber laxative like Metamucil and drink enough water daily so that your urine is colorless. For the long term you may try to increase your intake of fiber foods. Consult this site for fiber foods.

Probably okay, but..: Before you contemplate long term laxative dependency, seek medical evaluation--rule out metabolic causes of constipation (e.g. Low thyroid or adrenal conditions), distinguish slow versus normal transit constipation, consider a primary rectal dysfunction that may be treatable with biofeedback, check for structural pathology or extrinsic impingement, or intermittent ileus (e.g. Pseudo-obstruction).
