No: Hormone deficiencies/imbalances do not play a big role in causing asthma, but they can affect its severity. For instance, asthma in some women can worsen during pregnancy and that could be related to the hormonal changes creating a more pro-inflammatory state, but its not directly linked to its causation in the first place. Because asthma is multifactorial, both genes & environment play a big role.

Yes: Low zinc levels, low magnesium levels as well a deficiencies in vitamins c, b2, and b6.  Along with low essential fatty acids can be associated to eczema. Do not forget the strong hereditary and allergic component.

Many: But you will need to see your doctor to check out the potential causes as well as disease conditions such as psoriasis which may be associated with damage to your nails. I presume that you had not been glueing artificial nails to your current nails.

No: Vit D deficiency isn't a cause for eczema/itching or a cause for liver disease, can it be seen in people having those conditions? Yes, but not a cause. Vit D deficiency is usually related to insufficient vitamin D intake or insufficient sun exposure, a very common condition can lead to osteopenia or osteoporosis, (weak bones)  if long standing, treatment is easy, good luck

: You should see a dermatologist to treat the atopic dermatitis. If this is resulting in premature gray hair, treating it can reverse the premature graying. There are also other reasons for premature gray hair that the dermatologist may be able to help treat. Good luck!

Not necessary.: In the United States, supplementation with L lysine is not necessary, since plenty is present in the diet. The preponderance of studies do not show benefit to taking supplemental L-lysine.  You can save your money. Good luck.

Opposite: Lysine deficiency usually causes hair loss, anemia, poor appetite, delayed growth, fatigue, irritability, and poor concentration. (btw, excess does not do opposite: causes gallstone formation, GI distress, skin changes).

Lysine deficiency: Lysine competes with arginine for absorption. As a result using supplemental arginine can result in  lysine deficiency. People who don't consume animal products or have a diet that is light in meat are also at risk for a lysine deficiency. Try eating cereals.  How did you ever learn you were lysine deficient?  Get better.

Eczema back Pain: Unless your eczema is causing a n infection of your lower back area, the two are not related. Redness, swelling, and tenderness to touch might be symptoms of infection.
