Risk: The goal of light therapy treatment for sad is to mimic the amount of light that you would experience in the summer.  Sunlight has it's maximum intensity in the green spectrum.  Uv light carries the obvious risk of skin cancer.  It seems to me that blue would be better.  Also, the time of day in which you use the light is important - in the morning starting around 6:30am on.

Sadness is: usually shorter lived reaction 2 specific circumstances than depression. Self- pity also usually is not constant. Depression leads 2 the sadness &amp; self pity 2B constant unending. There R degrees of depression which are milder, but the feelings just don't lift. Often it is combined with insomnia, withdrawal from social activities, avoidance of friends, weight gain/loss, &amp; crying 4 apparent reason

i had testicular torsion and i unfortunately waited 2 days, wouldve there been a difference if i went to the in doctor 36 hours instead of 48 because i first had returning bloodflow, weeks later it shrunk and died, ive been feeling sad. i didnt know?

: Earlier surgery might have saved the testicle, but impossible to know for sure. You did nothing wrong. This will not harm your fertility or sexual functioning:  one testicle is plenty! You could have a prosthesis inserted, to replace the damaged one and replicate the feel and look of a normal testicle. Discuss with your urologist, and your primary physician to address your sadness. Good luck!

No: The hallmark of depression is a diminished ability to enjoy things that should be enjoyable. If that occurs, the individual needs to see their physician. The blues are typically not associated with this symptom. However, "blues" that persist for more than 2 weeks should be evaluated  by your doctor.

Go for it :-): Very little research has been done on the impact of color on mental functioning, and what has been done has been driven by practical concerns (room decor), and observatiional. Feelings about color are highly personal and rooted in one's experience and culture. The broader picture is that we don't know the science behind it, but if bright colors make you feel good, then wear them and enjoy. :-)

im 33 yrs,sexually inactive,my period ended 13 days ago,it was totally normal period,now i feel heaviness & something pulling me down near the uterus,my mood swings are crazy,suddenly i became happy and then i become blue &sad.i am eating like craz?

: It could be an ovarian cyst or other problem with your ovulation. Talk to your Dr and have a full exam. If your period does not occur in the next month, discuss having imaging done by primary care Dr.
