Food sensitivities: Blood tests are often inaccurate with regards to allergies, intolerances, and sensitivities. The best way to confirm a problem with these foods is to do a 4 week elimination diet. So do not eat dairy or soy products of any kind for 1 month and see how you feels.

Difficult to say: The blood IGE tests are good markers for allergies but need to be put into the context of you personal history and  exam findings. In general,  this could mean you may break or have digestive issues with tomatoes and less problems with wheat and soy.Each testing center gives a range and general meaning that you should get from the doc that ordered the test.High IGE levels require special plans.

No: Migraine is diagnosed clinically. Blood test and/or MRI of brain are done at time to rule out any underlying medical issues which would contribute to such a headache.

Blood test: Serum iron and ferritin levels provide a good indication of iron stores in the body. A simple blood count, if it shows small red cells is usually an indication of iron deficiency. Menstruating women are at risk of iron deficiency duet to loss of red blood cells in the menstrual discharge. You may take oral iron supplement with multivitamins.

What is the context: Depends on what you are looking for. No simple test. There are specific tests for certain things (penicillin).  There are a few tests done to determine if an individual can tolerate a certain med (G6PD). Mostly, though, it comes down to trial of a med and knowledge  of what to look for. For example if you get a cough with ACE inhib (lisinopril) your DR will change you to ARB (valsartan)

Both plus exam: ? will fibromyalgia (FM) diagnosis be from tests or symptoms. HISTORY (symptoms &amp; mechanism injury) PHYSICAL EXAM &amp; STUDIES (lab &amp; imaging) necessary for diagnosis. FM SYMPTOMS: chronic widespread pain, restless sleep, depression, etc. MECHANICAL INJURY: falls, lifting, childbirth, etc. PHYSICAL EXAM: hypermobility, Gillette Sign, scoliosis, asymmetric shoulders, etc. STUDIES:  none confirmatory.

Biopsy: Usually celiac sprue is diagnosed by a biopsy of the intestinal lining.  Alternately, you can avoid wheat products for a few weeks, and see if your symptoms improve and then you will know.
