Abdominal : Abdominal pain can be a serious issue . You may be dealing with a simple stomach flu/gastroenteritis. On the other hand thinks like appendicitis, gallstones, pancreatitis, etc. Could be to blame. If your pain is still present seek medical care right away.

The first that comes to mind is gad (generalized anxiety disorder) mainly because i also suffer from it ; had many of the symptoms you describe before seeking treatment. Treatment can include counseling, medications or both.  Anxiety ; depression often go together also.

Poor digestion: As we age we do not make enough hydrochloric acid with each cooked meal take betaine hcl will help with digestion <150 pounds need 1gm > 150 pounds need 2gm and above. People with chronic infection like lyme need very high dose (upwards of 40grams need special testing).

Why hold them?: Passing the gas that accumulates in your intestines from swallowed air, bacteria etc is the normal way of removing it from your body.  If you are holding it in you are causing gas and fluid to squirt back thru contracting intestines, causing your noises.  Better to just excuse yourself and let it pass.
