i have been diagnosed with entamoeba histolytica . i took flagyl course of 10 days . all the symptoms subsided. after relief i ate nuts, sweets popcorn. i started feeling cramps and bloody stool again. is that ulcerative colitis?

Not likely: You still have a degree of colitis that will take a little longer to heal. Your diet is supposed to be bland with lots of fluids and low residue. Other conditions cannot be ruled out and if your symptoms persist you should see a gastroenterologist.

UC: There is no specific diet or dietary restriction in UC.  If it bothers you then don't use it is a good rule of thumb. Some might think that cayenne pepper would be bad, but there is no evidence to support that. There is no natural supplement but medications generally work quite well.

can crohns disease or ulcerative colitis cause bad night sweats?

: Anything that causes fever can result in night sweats, which usually are the result of fever breaking during the night. Inflammatory bowel disease certainly can do this, but it most likely when your UC or Crohn's disease have flared up. However, night sweats rarely would be the only symptom of these problems. Discuss with your doctor. Good luck.

Not a simple answer: This is a complex issue beyond the scope of a 400 word answer. If you have tried all the usual treatments including biologics (humira for example) and immune modulating drugs (imuran (azathioprine) for example) and have non or poorly responsive disease, then a colectomy is generally a better choice than a life of being a slave to your colon inflammation.

othere than that i'm in great health.what vitamins would u recommend that i take.

Vitamins not best: I'm hoping your question is not implying that your priority in dealing with these issues is in choosing the right vitamin. Having regular tests to screen for colon cancer, walking/strengthening your back &amp; eating healthfully are your most important approaches. That said, a good multiple vitamin would be fine; make sure you get enough calcium/vit D &amp; perhaps some niacin or fish oil for cholesterol.

addiction chance from 10-20 10mg/325 hydrocodone a month? don't want to take left over from surgery without asking doc; but i'm afraid to ask him to prescribe it. it helps my ulcerative colitis pains. if i took it on very bad days 9-10 days a month

In theory: You should not develop an addiction to hydrocodone by taking 10-20 a month.   Due to the short half-life of the medication,  tolerance to the drug will not build if you are taking less than one pill a day.   That said,  any use of narcotics in a 24 yo should be for short-term use only.   There are other non-narcotic medications to control ulcerative colitis, saving narcotics for second-line Rx.

: Yes, you need to follow up with your gastroenterologist as it seems your disease is still quite active. Optimization of your medications may be needed.
