Emergency contracept: Emergency contraception should be used within 72 hours of unprotected sex to decrease the risk of pregnancy by about 70%. It is not 100% effective. IT should not be used as your primary birth control. Since you are having to use it often it would be a better option to start birth control. This would give you more protection.

For Plan B, yes: If you are talking about Plan B, the answer is yes.  Of note is the fact that it is not reliably effective in women over 165 pounds.  If you weigh over 165, you should see your GYN promptly.

Maybe Maybe Not: Birthcontrol pills taken properly are a guarantee against pregnancy.  Missing a dose decreases effectiveness even more

: Unfortunately, this is common:  Up to 15% of young adults with infectious mononucleosis suffer ongoing symptoms (primarily fatigue) for up to 6 months. It's not abnormal, just bad luck -- and it isn't dangerous or a sign of more serious problems later. Almost always it eventually clears up. Keep working with your doctors, or see an infectious diseases specialist if not already doing so. Good luck!

Lose money: Hi. There's a huge snake oil business scam that gets suckers to buy stuff that does nothing. Case in point, "testosterone boosters". Irregular bleeding : It is acceptable to take emergency contraception more that once in a month. Some irregular bleeding might occur. I think it is important you reevaluate your birth control plan though. It sounds like you need to start a long term birth control method instead of using emergency birth control.

Usually no...: There are a few medicines that can be used in 1 month olds, but never unless your baby's physician is aware and tells you it is ok. You don't want to be hiding things like a fever in this age group - that can signal something very serious. So never try treating symptoms yourself on a 1 month-old. Discuss the symptoms with your pediatrician and then they will let you know if your child needs more.
