Yes : It is possible for you to break your foot . If you have persistent swelling or pain not improving with ice, rest and elevation then see your doctor for evaluation.

Foot injury: Consider soft tissue injury of ligament or tendon, depending upon where exactly it hurts. Yes, a follow up x-ray can demonstrate a fracture not seen on first films.

hi so i had a call about 2 months ago now and immediately after where i fell on my foot it bruised and turned bright red and i couldnt walk i iced it and thought it was a fracture went to the er and the foot dr and x ray showed nothing waited 2 week?

Not unusual: Foot injuries can take a long time to heal and some discomfort with much activity can persist fora long time (6 months or more). It it is restricting you, consult the person who cared for the injury (or get a second opinion). Many things can influence the outcome.

Maybe (not) . . .: Get an xray. That's only way to know for sure if bone is broken or not (short of it being at a funny angle or sticking thru skin).
