Formulation: There are different formulations of Mucinex (guaifenesin) -- one which includes Guaifenesin alone (an expectorant); another called Mucinex (guaifenesin) d, which contains Guaifenesin and Pseudoephedrine (decongestant); and Mucinex (guaifenesin) dm, containing Guaifenesin and dextromethorphan, a cough suppressant. Guaifenesin and dextromethorphan are ok to use. Pseudoephedrine should not be taken in first trimester.

Category C drugs: This falls into category c. This is a pregnancy related scale listing meds form class a-x  from very safe  to dangerous/damaging. Category c includes meds that have no known negative effect on human fetal development from available studies but those studies are not extensive enough to move it to a safer category.

Ask your Ob/Gyn: The Mucinex (guaifenesin) has Guiafenesin which is pregnancy C you should take this if your OB says it is Ok.  Don't experiment on your own.

Mucinex (guaifenesin): I am not aware of Mucinex (guaifenesin) being used for pregnancy induction. It's relatively safe during pregnancy but if you can do without it, do so. The fewer medications in pregnancy, the better.

Some: You can use Mucinex (guaifenesin) and plain Claritin but not Claritin d. Anything with Pseudoephedrine is not ok during pregnancy.
It is preferred to avoid all meds during the first 3 meds of pregnancy if possible. Use a saline spray to alleviate your nasal congestion instead.

Usually up to 32 wee: Usually up to 32 weeks if you are having absolutely no problems with your pregnancy, but you should be asking your OB that ?, he or she may have a differnet answer since they have been following your pregnancy and obviously a bumpy flight in bad weather has more potential to cause problems.

The issue with a : Dry suit is what you are doing in it. If you are snorkeling or swimming that is fine.  If you are diving in a dry suit, that is not healthy during pregnancy.

Yacon syrup: Is a syrup from Peru used for weight loss literature review showed that it is beneficial for premenopausal women
Who are obese and with insulin resistance. Although it seems sake and product is natural, it did not  not do any study on pregnancy. It would be wise not to use any medication including herbal or natural during pregnancy.

None needed: There is no scientific evidence that one should take any herbs during pregnancy as they do not benefit you. Take a Folic Acid vitamin or a prenatal vitamin and you are good to go.
