Yes: Depending on the type of skin cancer, cure can be attained without surgical incisions. Radiation therapy to the skin has been used for years in treatment of skin cancers. Non invasive skin cancers can be treated with levulan and blue light therapy.  Shave biopsy with fulguration is an effective technique to destroy superficial skin cancers. Many options depending on type skin cancer, location, etc.

Absolutely not!: No legitimate studies support the idea, and the immunosuppressive drugs block the immune systems aid in cancer control.  Controlling the local disease is poor regardless of local therapy, and there are other sites of potential metastasis. I would not think of it for me if i had this.

Many times it is.: According to the american cancer society the 5 year relative survival rate for stage 1 is 100%, stage ii- 93%, stage iii is 72% and stage IV is 22%.

Hmmmm: You know, the terms "stage iv" and "cure" are not usually put in the same sentence by oncologists because in theory, most stage IV cancers are incurable. That said, I have seen a handful of patients who had a limited number of metastases to the liver or lung and are in remission years later after aggressive surgery and chemo. Don't lose hope. Leukemia treatment: This depends on the type of leukemia.  Some leukemias are curable with chemotherapy.  Other types can be treated but may not be curable.
