what is the best way to clean bottles and pacifiers?

Soap and water: Clean first with soap and water.  I recommend that for the first three month bottles and nipples should be sterilized either in the dishwasher or put in boiling water for 5 minutes.

my 2m baby won't take a pacifier or a bottle anymore. i feel like i have to be attached to him 24/7. he even wants to comfort eat. what do i do?

Feeding: One of the hardest thing is babies tend to nurse more frequently. I hope by this time you have established feedings to do them every three hours during the day and try to space them out every 4-54 hours at night. 
Make sure you get some help to burp, change or bath the baby so you can get some rest.
If you feel depressed and crying alot, call your doctor to see if you need any help with that

More info needed: Is he breastfeeding? Did you start baby foods. How long has this been going on? Is his activity level normal? Has he been sick with a cold?

Not sure question: Melissa- Are you yourself using these items, or are you using them on your baby? If it's you, it's just years of having these things as your way of calming. Some people eat, some smoke, some drink. You use sucking to calm. Try starting a new habit as you gradually break the old - for instance, while sucking the pacifier, have gum in your mouth as well. Brain will start to replace the old with new.

The natural time of : Weaning is around a year, when whole milk & milk products are limited to 16-21 0z./day to avoid constipation, iron deficiency anemia (which can cause developmental delays),  & ⬇'ed appetite for solids. Juice is limited to 4-6 oz./day.  Sipping milk/juice off & on or falling asleep with a bottle promotes cavities. Use an open-mouthed cup with 2 handles to promote lip closure for speech.

the best pacifier is the one that pacifies the best.  
I believe they all have a similar effect on the dentition and palate.  So, if your going to need braces and palatal expansion it might as well be worth it.

Infant feeding: You should discuss this with the pediatrician. Feeding every six hours may not be adequate for that age.

.: Most airplanes are pressurized. But the change in pressure during take off and landing may cause pain and distress. Try to give something to suck on like a pacifier or lollipop just during takeoff and landing. You can also give some snacks to chew on. This also could help keep  tube open. Be extra careful about the possibility of aspiration too.

See answer. : A 2 year old shd be off bottle and pacifier. Bottle feeding in this age group can cause ear infections&amp; lots of dental problems. Discuss with your pediatrician the best ways to get her off both. Meanwhile u shd boil bottles &amp; pacifiers till u achieve both. Pacifiers only at night may be temporarily ok if the child has no recurrent oral infections and has great difficulty getting off to sleep.
