i missed my lunch dose for the 4th day if my methylprednisolone pack and figured i could take the lunch and sleep one together so i did  am i ok ?

Try to take them: Early in the day. Doses do not have to be split. If taken in the second part of the day they may affect your sleep.

Missed pills: If you miss 1 active pill (up to 48 hours late) then take your missed pill as soon as remember (you may take 2 pills in one day)
-- then use the rest of the pack 
-- do you need condoms for a week?  No.	
-- do you need a morning after pill?  No, but consider if pills missed early in the pack, or in the last week of the previous pack. 
-- back-up methods ARE needed if 2 or more pills are missed

Yes: You're good.

Antibiotics are designed to be kept at a certain concentration in your blood for a certain amount of time, hence, the taking of the same dose of antibiotic over a specific time interval.

You have already taken a few doses of the antibiotic so you should already have a good amount circulating in your blood stream.

Just continue taking the antibiotic as directed until its finished.

i am 15 weeks pregnant.taking synthroid (thyroxine) 50 mcg every day for 8 months already. tsh is within norm range now.what if i miss just one dose tomorrow?

Add an additional dose: Because synthroid (thyroxine) has a long half life and keeping your thyroid level normal is important during the pregnancy, I suggest to add additional dose of 50 mg synthroid (thyroxine) as soon as you realize that you missed the dose. Hope this helps. Happy New Year!

Xarelto is most: effective when taken with a meal. It is recommended that for any dose over 15mg it be taken with supper to assure it is with a meal. Once you refill his medication he should take his usual dose daily with supper. Don't take two doses to make up! Try not to miss doses in the future. It only works if he is taking it regularly. Look in the bottle to know ahead of time and to avoid running out.

i have been taking amoxicilin 500 mg for two days and i missed one dose, should i wait until the time of next dose and should i take two tablets next time?

Accepted Answer

: The idea isa to maintain a constant titer of antibiotic.  If you miss a dose the titer drops, encouraging infection rebound and/or antibiotic resistance. Take a tablet immediately and then reschedule the rest at the interval prescribed by your practitioner. If you are on an 8 hour interval (3/day) take your next pill 8 hours after the one you take now, then 8 hours after that, etc.
