Day after surgery: Only barrier is taking pain meds with Acetaminophen which should never be combined with alcohol because of the risk to the liver.

Probably NO, as the: Drug is still in your body as only 1/2 of the drug is out of your system in 18 hrs. Such drugs and alcohol generally do not mix very well.
