Not digestible food: It is not normal to poop what you eat with a few exceptions.  If you eat nondigestible material like plastic or rubber, it will pass through essentially intact.  If you eat vegetables like corn with tough skin and don't chew them well, some may pass nearly intact.  Fistulas between the small and large bowel and other disorders can cause food to pass through intact.  You should see a GI specialist.

It depends: If you took Bismuth Subsalicylate (pepto-bismol), your stools often turn black. Iron supplements may also cause dark stools. Black stools (melena) can also be a sign of blood from an upper GI bleed (ex. Bleeding stomach ucler).  See your doctor!

This can result in gassiness and an increased number of bowel movements. A primary care or ob-gyn doctor can help with relieving symptoms.

Yes: Eating stimulates "peristalsis" which means the intestines are moving food along. If you have stool near the end of the intestinal tract, you will have a bowel movement.

If you are having more than 2-3 bowel movements per day, diarrhea, pain, or blood in the stool, talk to your doctor about IBD and colitis.

Past history: At age 45 you have had many menstrual cycles. Compare what you are experiencing now to what you have experienced in the past. If you feel something is different with your bowel movements now that you usually have then see a gastroenterologist for evaluation. Bowel movements generally depend on your diet and hydration level not on ovulation.
