is it normal to bleed a lot after hemorrhoid surgery?

Recovery : During recovery from rectal hemorrhoid surgery it is okay for some bleeding.  Check with your surgery team, they will know best your limits.  In the meantime hold pressure for 10 minutes while lying down.

i had a hemorrhoid opp about a week ago. when i have a bm i bleed and it's extremely painful. is this normal?

One or two weeks: this can be expected, however if bleeding heavier, or increasing pain , or fever, let your doctor know.

Evacuate the clot: Must expel the clot and then it will heal on its own.  Anusol-HC suppositories will help.  See your MD if you need help

i had what i believe to be a thrombosed hemorrhoid pop on its own. it realised what i believe to be a clot, and a lot of bright red blood. it bleed for quite a while. what i guess i'm getting at is will this heal on its own?

NO: You can "calm down" these hemorrhoids by making sure your stool is not hard (by drinking lots of fluids!! PLUS using a hemorrhoidal  CREAM with CORTISONE
Ask your Pharmacist since this is OTC in most states!

hemmroids are hurting sitting or walking. no bleeding but started my period. can i apply meds? what can ne done to help. job requires lots of sitting.

Keep it simple: Sitz Baths help calm symptoms. Hot water-sit in it for 10 minutes. Get a special pan to fit on top of a toilet. It's OK to apply topical mess at ANYTIME. If sitting puts pressure on a sore spot, change the equation... Get a Donut Cushion to sit on.

Yes: yes it is possible. Have it checked although preferably when it is obvious !

Banding: If the blood was bright red and not mixed in the stool it's possible that there's another hemorrhoid or that the banded site broke open or fell off. Some bleeding can occur 7-10 days after banding of an internal hemorrhoid. Keep stools soft and hydrated. If bleeding persists or worsens, see the physician who performed your ligation for evaluation.

: Bleeding from the intestine including the anus is not normal. You can lose enough blood to become anemic. The lesions are treatable and you should consult a doctor at your earliest convenience.

Bright red: Hemorrhoidal bleeding is usually bright red and without clots. That being said, all bright red bleeding from the rectum is not necessarily due to hemorrhoids. All bleeding should be evaluated and diagnosed and treated by a physician.
