It's the pregnancy: It's the pregnancy and not the prenatal vitamin. Take the pill after you have had something to eat and not on an empty stomach.

Yes: Yes, constipation is usually due to the iron content in the prenatal vitamins. Some prenatal vitamins will contain a stool softener to help with the constipation. Remember also that pregnancy itself will at times lead to constipation due to the hormone Progesterone which slows the transit time through the bowels. Increased fluids and high fiber foods will help.

More folate, (folic acid) calcium: Pnv have slightly different composition from regular multivitamins: they contain less vitamin a (potentially teratogenic in high doses), more folic acid, more iron and calcium.

As early as possible: You should establish with Obs-Gyn as early as possible and should have started your prenatal/folic acid as soon as aware of your pregnancy.

when i first started taking my prenatal vitamins my urine was neon yellow, now i'm 7 months pregnant and when i take them, urine looks normal. why?

Using more vitamins: Generally vitamins b1 ; b2 turn urine yellow. Taking more than you need is harmless ; your body excretes the unused vitamins in your urine, turning it yellow. Your body is probably using more vitamins at this point in your pregnancy so you have less unused vitamins excreted in your urine. I don't know how much b's are in your prenatal- some have just the rdi ; you may benefit from higher doses.

Anxiety: As per FDA Report, there is less than 1% incidence of tachycardia (heart racing) with prenatal vitamins.

It is likely that (heart racing) is due to stress.
Stresses of relationships, separation, unresolved emotional conflicts, and pregnancy at age 32 are contributing to Anxiety.

Might be it: it is normal to lose hair after pregnancy, However, there are other medical causes. Thyroid disease can present with hair loss as an associated symptom. Check with your primary care physician, blood work and exam are in order. Congrats on the breastfeeding!

You : You should be evaluated for this by your doctor.  It is abnormal that you started bleeding, although it can happen, but it is rare with mirena (levonorgestrel).  Have your doctor check to be sure that your Mirena (levonorgestrel) did not come out.  If your bleeding becomes heavy, or if you have any new symptoms such as pain then you should be evaluated immediately.

should i continue taking my prenatal vitamins post birth? i was taking pregomega plus supplements which included 3 tablets: fish oil tablet, calcium and a multivitamin which had folic acid. or should i switch to normal multivitamin?

Use up the remainder: If a woman is in good health with good nutrition, the added vitamins from prenatal vitamins are not noticeable to her body. The Folic Acid in the prenatal vitamins does help decrease the chance of a certain type of serious birth defect (called a neural tube defect). If expecting to get pregnant again soon, she can stay on prenatal vitamins. Otherwise, she can use a regular multivitamin.

Yes: Everyone has different feelings and needs when they are pregnant.  It is very common in the first trimester to be very tired and require more sleep.  There is not anything to take for this.  Just try to get as much sleep as possible at night and indulge in naps if your schedule allows it.  Energy levels will increase back to normal as the pregnancy progresses into the second trimester.
