It may be but it is : Not in sync with our "natural clocks" that affect multiple things in our body like hormone releases that have evolved to reflect night and day so you may still not function at peak performance as a result in spite of a sound sleep pattern.

Probably not: Of course there are going to be exceptions. Most folks who have this reversed day / night activity level are not doing what is best for their body or mind. They may, however, feel they have not choice. Changing this kind of pattern is very hard, although it can be done.

Sleep not remedy: Your sleep posture is not the remedy--it would be too easy. Postural exercise may have some benefit. If you have been on steroids there may be some structural change.

See physician: There are many causes of hip pain. Pain can be in the front, side, or back of the hip. A few of the more common causes are arthritis, bursitis, and tendonopathy. Some of the more serious causes are infection, fractures, and cancer. I would recommend seeing your physician if you have sereve pain that wakes you from your sleep.

Sleep Apnea: Hopefully I am interpreting your question correctly, that you are having difficulty sleeping due to positioning problems, which can indicate an obstructive problem.  This is why i would be recommending a work-up for osa obstructive sleep apnea (which includes a polysomnogram - sleep study- if at consult you display some of the many risk factors for this problem). Otherwise tighter asthma control?

High blood pressure: The doctors white coat may have caused your increase in blood pressure. However, have your doctor check your urine, your eye grounds and get an ultra sound of your kidneys to rule out possible cause. If you are taking medications or otc products inform your doctor.
