In general: it's good especially if your body needs POTASSIUM (eg; you are taking a DIURETIC (fluid pill)

i have recently discovered i am battling to eat bananas.
my mother feels sick from eating bananas .

every time i have bananas i have diarrhea, would this mean i am allergic .
the diarrhea occurs within 1 hour of having the banana ?

Diarrhea: Diarrhea from banana could be related to sugar, do you have troubles with milk too?  
A whole banana can give people with irritable bowel problems, but a bite will not.  Does the quantity of banana make a difference?  Banana food allergy a less likely possibility.

No effect on P. vera: This is a high energy mix. So it will likely increase your weight and could make you obese, which is harmful. Polycythemia will not affected by this type of diet. I would advise you to eat a healthy and well ballnced diet without excess of fat(Like peanut butter)

Swallowing air: You're probably swallowing air. Do you belch alot? (a symptom of aerophagia). Neither of your meds are likely to be responsible. Your diet is very unhealthy.  Why are you doing that? Try a balanced diet, even if you're restricting your calories.

but they're relatively starchy ; high in sugars. They may be ok every day but i think it's be healthier to have other fruits too.

Diarrhea: Young children can become dehydrated rather quickly; older children can manage for longer.  The child may not wish to eat, but be sure that he is drinking lots of fluids - water, chicken soup, gelatin, 1/2 strength juice and is urinating a few times a day.

If there is decreased urine output or the child is lethargic, seek medical attention.
