HIV: You will not get HIV from an HIV negative person. This is only transmitted from infected persons to others by some form of intimate contact, commonly sexual. Go and have yourself seen in an STD clinic and tested, and begin using protected sex only unless your partner is tested negative and you are monogamous and trust your partner to do the same.

HIV: Be aware that undetectable viral load does not mean that the person does not have HIV or that he is cured from the infection.  
While there is less chance to transmit the virus when the person's viral load is undetectable, at this time no one can guarantee that he/she will remain undetectable for ever.  
My advise will be to always use barrier protection during intercourse with an HIV+ person

Probably: Especially if the nanny is on anti-HIV drugs. HIV is usually transmitted through blood -to-blood contact and thus I'd not expect this to be an event happening in child care. On the other hand, if the nanny contracted HIV through illicit drug use via a contaminated needle. you will need to carefully evaluated this aspect.

HIV: Assuming you were tested appropriately it is very unlikely that you were infected if the tests are negative 8 months later. You need not be retested at this point, but be very careful and make sure you are protected when having sex. Hope this helps.
