Yes!: Clonazepam is a benzodiazepine.  It has a serious potential for abuse if misused.  This is why it is closely regulated.

in general, how far can my primary care doctor be to prescribe controlled substance ? i take klonopin daily for panic disorder. i am relocating to a new town & my doctor will be 35 miles from me. is that acceptable or will there be potential problem?

: Distance between doctor and patient doesn't matter in prescribing controlled drugs. Your doctor must have proper authorization from the US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA); and most states will not accept control drug prescriptions if the doctor is not licensed in that state. If you and your doc are in the same state, there should be no problem.

Klonopin:  You haven't given us any idea of how long you have been on Klonopin or what your does has been. Please ask your medical provider to provide you a schedule for a downward taper. If you have been on Klonopin for a lengthy period, the taper should not be too rapid. Please taper under medical guidance.

Psychosis: Paranoia is common when you become psychotic. Feeling afraid of people, and hearing voices inside of your head are symptoms which can be  treated with the help of medications and therapy. Do not wait to make a consult right away, and follow recommendations, even if you don't trust anybody. Your mental illness will take over your life, and you deserve a second chance at better medications.

Psychiatric help : Please see a psychiatrist soon. Prozac (fluoxetine) may not be appropriate for some patients.

Anxiety medication: I would consider an antidepressant that is also used for GAD. The SSRI's such as citalopram or sertraline are such examples. These medications help with longer-term anxiety management. I would also recommend finding a therapist if you don't have one already, as a therapist can help you develop tools and skills to manage anxiety as a supplement to any medications you may take.

: Some prefer beta blockers. I prefer these to Clonazepam which can be very addicting. Used by many who preform or are speakers. Discuss with your Dr. Consider classic Transcendental Meditation. Go to TM.com. I have published research on TM.

been off lorazepam for 6 days, on 10 mg of lexapro (escitalopram) and .5 mg of clonazepam 2x a day.  will the help control my anxiety and stomach problems?

Anxiety: Will likely be controlled soon as it takes Lexapro (escitalopram) approximately 7 to 10 days for the  antianxiety effect to kick in. I don't know what dose of Lorazepam however you were taken off. As to its effect on your stomach, i cannot predict that as I do not know specifically what the G.I. Problem is.
