Depends: You need to know what your resting metablism rate is, from that you subtract 500cal/day to lose one pound per week. So if you just binged on over 2000cal ormore you are going to gain weight.  Ask yourself why you binged b/c this is usually an emotional reason.  Most weight problems have an emotional part that needs to be addressed.

Not necessarily: Occasional diet coke is going to be fine. Excessive amounts a cause a jitteriness from the caffeine.
More important is to eat healthy diet that is well-balanced.

Fruit &amp; diets: It is not bad to eat fruit on a diet. It is bad to eat a lot of anything on a diet though, so you have to set limits. While an excellent source of fiber and nutrients, it also has a rather high carbohydrate content, so if you are diabetic or trying a low carb diet/lifestyle then you need to keep it lower. Fruit juice, though, is a big NO-NO on a diet - way to many empty calories.

Not good for weight: Most people who eat infrequently actually over eat. Two processes occur with prolonged daily fasting: the body enters a calorie-scavenging and storing "starvation" mode; and by the time you eat, you're hungry and tend to eat enough to store some extra. Small, frequent, healthy eating throughout the day, if feasible, is likely to be one step that will promote a healthier weight.

Not coffee itself: Caffeine actually has been in the news quite a bit as of late because of some benefitial health benefits such as reducing diabetes, liver cancer, and parkinson's disease etc...It also has high antioxidant content and thus may have other health benefits. Unfiltered coffe may raise cholesterol a bit, but not filtered one. It is the condiments we add to coffee that have negative effects. Good luck.

Mixed: Huge scientific debate. Most, but not all,  agree that the artificial sweetener in diet cola is less harmful than sugar, but this may lead you to believe that you can otherwise eat poorly because of the calories you are saving.  Better to drink water slightly flavored with some fruit juice like grape, cranberry, or orange. No more than 1/8 of cup.

Not at all!: Coffee is the most consumed pharmacologically active beverage. Previously considered "unhealthy, " it now has been shown to have many significant health benefits. It decreases risk for stroke, heart attack, diabetes 2, cancer, alzheimer's, and parkinson's disease. Some people will experience jitters and sleeplessness. They should drink less. But up to 5 cups per day-health benefits accummulate!

Hang in there: Remember you are not on a diet, you are changing your lifestyle and how you eat. It is perfectly normal for you to eat foods that are not healthy every once in a while and definitely in moderation. Make sure you don't have an all or none approach. Just concentrate on the important life style modifications and don't forget to exercise.

What's your problem?: I suspect you may have fatty liver but if not, sorry, my bad! if fatty liver is the case, the best diet would be one that is poor in fat, especially saturated one and rich in fiber that catches and eliminates it from the intestines. I give my patients a good rule - anything that is white or made out of white is full of fat or can easily be converted into it - eggs, milk (whole), flour, sugar, rice.

Eat Oats: Mmm good!: Eating a bowl of oats with water sounds good, not bad. But, it isn't clear whether this is recommended for your diet. If you're on a special diet for medical purposes please speak with your health care provider.  In general, long-term sustainable, and balanced eating habits are far superior to shorter-term "diets.".
