No: This is rare.  Causes should be investigated.  Fortunately most cases of iritis can be controlled with topical eye drop medications (steroids) only.

Iriitis: Most of the time the cause of iritis is unknown, but there are many causes. I dont think pregnancy can affect the blood work.

Several things: Recurrent iritis can be from certain antibiotics or antivirals, autoimmune disorders, infections, trauma, or genetic predisposition. Your doctor should be evaluating you for underlying conditions.

Yes: Patients with toxoplasmosis can develop inflammation in the eye.  Vitrifies is most common but an anterior iritis spillover can also be seen.

See below: Eye drops, ocular injections (subtenons or intravitreal), or systemic medications (pills or intravenous) depending on the severity. Uveitis can be anterior (iritis), intermedicate (pars planitis), or posterior (vitritis, chorioretinitis). You will need regular eye exams by an eye doctor if you have this.

Several options: Iritis, or anterior uveitis, can occur alone, but it is frequently a marker for rheumatic diseases in the spondyloarthropahy family: psoriatic arthritis, reiter's, ankylosing spondylitis, juvenile idiopathic arthritis, and sarcoidosis. Usually treated with steroid drops, but more potent drugs have been successfully used, such as Enbrel (etanercept) and humira.  If recurrent and/or untreated, can cause glaucoma.

Topical drops: Most iritis responds to topical anti-inflammatory drops with assistance from dilators which prevents internal adhesions which can be dangerous.  Most respond to this although recurrence is possible.  A few progress despite this and there are good systemic agents which can usually treat it.  See an ophthalmologist for something this severe.

Different tissues: Iritis is inflammation of the iris , the colored part inside the eye while conjunctivitis is inflammation of the conjunctiva, the thin transparent membrane over the white part of the eye.

Accepted Answer

Significant : Keratitis refers to inflammation or pathological change of the surface of the cornea (the front window of the eye).  Iritis, the anterior form of uveitis, is a generally sterile inflammation of the interior of the eye occasionally associated with systemic disease.  Treatment is quite different for the two.  See you ophthalmologist if you have a problem.
