i can't walk. my symptoms started a few months ago with involuntary eye movement and tremors/spasticity and now when i try to walk it feels like i'm being electrocuted in my legs and my knees can't hold me up. i don't have ins. & dont know what to do?

: You may go to a primary care doctor as a start although, you should go to the emergency room You may qualify for temporary insurance coverage. This sound like you need an MRI which is expensive

Need to see your doc: Spasms of the entire body could refer to anything from epileptic types of spells to tetanic types of posturing, or some form of sleep disorder, or generalized dystonic reaction.  Lots of big fancy words but the bottom line is you must seek out a doctor (perhaps neurologist) for a thorough interview, examination, and orders for laboratory tests.  Your description of what's happening is not normal.

Multiple causes: Spasms in the index finger can be caused by many things - excessive use can read to cramping of the finger. A low calcium level can also cause muscle spasms. If it is persistent, it would make sense to get an evaluation from your doctor.

worded better this time; people stretch in bed when they wake up. i do too but its more of an involuntary spasm where i just tense up and cramp and hurt my back. wondering if you ever heard of such a thing and what could be done about it?

: Back cramp during stretch is not as common as leg cramp but it does happen and I assume it is more painful than leg cramp.
Some suggestions: -do not stay in bed too long - hydration well on the previous day if working in hot weather or sweating a lot - cramp could be precipitated by certain prescription medications (talk to your doctor) - take magnesium supplement 200 mg at dinner time (OTC).

i think i have a uti and diarrhoea. when trying to go to the bathroom, i have involuntary spasms which are causing back pain. is this normal?

: During a routine bout of diarrhea, it is not unusual to have spasms of the colon, and it is definitely possible that these could cause back pain. See a doctor ASAP: Although your headache might represent a prolonged migraine, the other symptoms are not the usual accompaniments, and could represent an intracranial process.  Do not use narcotics for headaches, as things usually get far worse.  Get to your doctor and get this diagnosed and under control.

Several things: The scariest thing would be nerve damage or a systemic muscle or nerve disease.  The most common would be overuse (such as writing or running without stretching).  95% + of time it is overuse or poor posture/ alignment along with dehydration (drink enough water - include electrolytes if heavy exercise) followed by magnesium and calcium depletion.  Potassium also important.

i took plan b 10 times and i have been experiencing involuntary muscle spasms every part of my body. could this be caused by hormonal imbalance?

Too much plan B: Plan b is an excellent form of emergency contraception but it should not be used routinely.  If you have used Plan B 10 times you need to be on another form of contraception.  After you not tsken Plan B for some time i would see if your symptoms go away.  If not, or if your symptoms get worse, you should look for other causes.

Neurology: A neurologist would be the doctor I would see. Not only do you need a compete history and physical and lab tests maybe needed. Also a test called an EMGNCV which checks nerves and muscles most likely will be needed to help figure out why the muscle spasms are occurring. That test is usually performed by a neurologist
